Notes

'Honeycomb' blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis 'Honeycomb') is a clumping grass for low maintenance beds, rock gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. It grows 30 to 39 inches tall and forms a clump up to 27 inches wide. Golden olive-brown flowers appear from early to late summer, and birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Maiden pink, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
