Notes

Blue chalksticks (Curio repens) is a succulent for borders, ground cover, and xeriscape. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays about 12 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches, so it fills gaps fast.

Pairs well with Jerusalem sage, Siskiyou Pink gaura, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
