Notes

'Blue Elf' sedum (Sedum 'Blue Elf') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Steel-blue rosettes carry tight clusters of dark-pink flowers in early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit them. It spreads 8 to 12 inches. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Star of persia, Persian Carpet zinnia, and Common milkweed.
