Notes

Blue holly (Ilex meserveae) is an evergreen shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 96 to 144 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread. White flowers open in mid to late spring. The plant keeps its foliage all year, so a hedge of it gives you steady cover in winter.

Pairs well with Snowberry, Tree peony, and Ostrich fern.
