Notes

'Blue Ocean' freesia (Freesia 'Blue Ocean') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen planting. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant, semi-double flowers open amethyst violet and fade to mineral violet, with primrose yellow on the outside of the tube. They bloom from early to late summer.

Pairs well with Karma Choc dahlia, Taro, Vetiver, and Boxwood.
