Notes

Boxwood (Buxus microphylla) is a shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and formal gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Its fragrant white flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. This dense evergreen grows slowly and is drought tolerant.
