Notes
Blue waxweed (Cuphea viscosissima) is an annual for annual beds and naturalized areas. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 9 to 18 inches. Purple to purplish-red flowers appear in mid to late summer and again in early to mid autumn.
Pairs well with Mountain mint, Fountain grass, and Lemon thyme.
