Notes
'Blue Wonder' toad lily (Tricyrtis 'Blue Wonder') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its white flowers carry heavy blue-purple spotting and bloom in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. It grows 18 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Lady fern, Miscanthus, and Viburnum.
