Notes

'White Splendour' Greek thimbleweed (Anemone blanda 'White Splendour') is a perennial for rock gardens, woodland gardens, naturalized areas, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. Pure white flowers with yellow centers open in early to late spring, and the plant goes dormant in summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plant it around dark flowered hellebores or beneath deciduous trees and shrubs.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Green Spice coral bells, and Cinnamon fern.
