Notes

Buttonsage (Lantana involucrata) is a shrub for hedges, low maintenance gardens, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy soil. Small white flowers grow in fragrant clusters and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It can get leggy, so prune it often to keep it dense.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, White sage, and Saw palmetto.
