Notes
'Camelot Lavender' digitalis (Digitalis purpurea 'Camelot Lavender') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Lavender, cream, and burgundy blooms open in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Peony, Japanese forest grass, and Ornamental onion.
