Notes

'Camelot Rose' digitalis (Digitalis purpurea 'Camelot Rose') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Rose and burgundy flowers open on tall spikes in spring and summer, and hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The clumps stay tidy and need little care.

Pairs well with Peony, Blue fescue, Ornamental onion, and Japanese maple.
