Notes

'Dalmatian Purple' foxglove (Digitalis purpurea 'Dalmatian Purple') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It forms a clumping mound and blooms in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Brilliance autumn fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Greater masterwort.
