Notes
Candlebark (Eucalyptus rubida) is a tree for low maintenance gardens, xeriscape, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant leaves stay on the tree all year, and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Give it room, since it can grow over 100 feet tall.
Pairs well with May Night salvia, Creeping thyme, and Italian cypress.
