Notes

'Cape Blanco' broad-leaf stonecrop (Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco') is a succulent for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It stays 3 to 6 inches tall and spreads 9 to 12 inches. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, and butterflies visit the yellow flowers.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Lupine, and Autumn fern.
