Notes
Hummingbird's mint (Agastache cana) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Pink flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant leaves also tolerate drought.
Pairs well with Shasta daisy, Buffalo grass, and False indigo.
