Notes

'Carlos' muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia 'Carlos') is a fruit for food gardens, privacy screens, and arbors as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is a rapid climbing vine that can reach 15 to 20 feet tall. Its fragrant blooms attract bees, and birds visit it too.

Pairs well with Pink Lady apple, Woodland strawberry, Lemon balm, and Rozanne crane's-bill.
