Notes

'Tara' muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia 'Tara') is a fruit vine for food gardens, privacy screens, and arbors. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It climbs and grows rapidly, so give it a sturdy support. The fragrant blooms attract bees, and birds visit the vine too.

Pairs well with Virginia strawberry, Black raspberry, Thyme, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
