Casper begonia

Garden uses

Notes

'Casper' begonia (Begonia 'Casper') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. Pink-red flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plants reach 12 to 18 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Angel wings, Southern shield fern, and Polka dot plant.
