Notes

'Catherine flowering' cherry (Prunus 'Catherine flowering') is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers open from early to late spring. The leaves turn orange and red in fall, and the wide, flat-topped crown spreads out to give shade.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Gladiolus, Yellow iris, and Ocean spray.
