Notes
'Chandleri Elegans Variegated' camellia (Camellia 'Chandleri Elegans Variegated') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil. It blooms from early to late autumn and attracts hummingbirds and birds. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. The evergreen leaves keep color in the garden all year.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and White bigleaf hydrangea.
