Notes
'White' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'White') is a shrub for cut flowers, hedges, privacy screens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate with an erect habit. It blooms from early to late summer and tolerates salt. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Lenten rose, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Lady fern.
