Cherisa lenten rose

Notes

'Cherisa' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'Cherisa') is an evergreen perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The pink and cream flowers have deeper pink picotee edges and open from early to late spring. The leathery leaves are mottled, and new growth starts pink before fading to mint green. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Autumn fern, and Blue flag.
