Notes

'Chicklet Red' yellow bells (Tecoma stans 'Chicklet Red') is a shrub for borders, containers, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Blood flower, Citronella grass, and Common myrtle.
