Notes

Yellow bells (Tecoma stans) is a shrub for borders, containers, hedges, and specimen planting. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Large yellow trumpet flowers attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Letting the soil dry out between soakings may improve flowering.

Pairs well with Lantana, Tuscan Blue rosemary, Sedge, and Blue-eyed grass.
