Notes

Orange bells (Tecoma fulva) is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast and stays evergreen, so it fills space quickly. Orange flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds.

Pairs well with Cape leadwort, Golden dewdrops, Pineapple sage, and Lemongrass.

Native range

Peru and Northern Chile.
