Notes

Chinese money plant (Pilea peperomioides) is a houseplant for containers and low maintenance spaces. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast and forms a tidy, clumping mound of green leaves that stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Wood sorrel, Black bat flower, and Japanese forest grass.
