Notes

Artillery plant (Pilea microphylla) is a perennial for containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays evergreen and grows 6 to 12 inches tall with a similar spread. The tiny green leaves form a soft, low mat.
