Notes

Chinese pistache (Pistacia chinensis) is a tree for low maintenance gardens, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows at a moderate rate into an oval shape. Birds visit the tree, and it tolerates drought once settled.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Munstead lavender, and Sedge.
