Notes
'Cinderella' swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata 'Cinderella') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It forms a clump 24 to 48 inches tall with fragrant pink flowers. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pickerel weed, Smooth aster, Royal fern, and Indian grass.
