Notes

Clustered bellflower (Campanula glomerata) is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound of green leaves, and blue to purple flowers open in spring and again in summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan, and Sedge.

Native range

Europe and temperate Asia.
