Notes

'Superba' clustered bellflower (Campanula glomerata 'Superba') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It forms a clump of violet blue to deep purple flowers in spring and summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cytherea peony, Dancing Queen hosta, and Apricotta cosmos.
