Notes
'Karl Rosenfield' peony (Paeonia 'Karl Rosenfield') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The double crimson blooms are large, with waved outer petals and strong stems. It is free-flowering and makes a good cut flower.
Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
