Notes
'Colour Spectacle' dahlia (Dahlia 'Colour Spectacle') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Fully double orange blooms with white tips open on 3 to 4 foot stems from summer to frost, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Protect it from winter wet, or lift and store the bulbs in a cool, dry, frost free spot.
Pairs well with Blue grama, Sea holly, and White sage.
