Notes

Columbia lily (Lilium columbianum) is a perennial for borders, woodland gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Slender stems carry nodding, light orange flowers spotted with maroon. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and native bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Switchgrass, and Creeping phlox.
