Notes

Lily (Lilium regale) is a bulb for borders, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows 36 to 72 inches tall and bears fragrant pink, purple, or white flowers from early to late summer. Butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Foxglove, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
