Notes
'Corbet' Colorado spruce (Picea pungens 'Corbet') is a tree for specimen use, accent, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows slowly into a columnar evergreen that reaches 3 to 8 feet tall. It also tolerates drought once established.
Pairs well with Princeton Sentry maidenhair tree, Berry Poppins winterberry, and Foxtail barley.
