Notes

'Globosa' Colorado spruce (Picea pungens 'Globosa') is a shrub for borders, specimens, accents, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly and stays evergreen all year. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Golden Globe American arborvitae, Drumstick primrose, and Red fescue.
