Notes

'Cosimo Collarette' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Cosimo Collarette') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a clumping mound, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Cut stems often for bouquets.

Pairs well with Black-eyed Susan, Snow on the mountain, and Red fescue.
