Notes

'Sensation' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Sensation') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast into a bushy plant that is drought tolerant. Butterflies and bees visit the blooms, which come in yellow, orange, pink, purple, red, and white.

Pairs well with False Queen Anne's lace, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
