Notes

Cowhorn agave (Agave bovicornuta) is a succulent for containers, xeriscapes, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It is drought tolerant and stays evergreen all year. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 35 to 59 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Echeveria, Aloe, and Aeonium.
