Notes

Parry's agave (Agave parryi) is a succulent for specimens, accents, containers, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. A rosette of stiff, spine-tipped leaves grows for several years before the plant flowers and dies. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Hummingbirds and bees visit the yellow blooms.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Lemon thyme, and Chia.
