Crested echeveria

Notes

'Crested' echeveria (Echeveria agavoides 'Crested') is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and houseplant collections. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Young leaves are apple green to yellow with red tips, and the color is deepest in full sun. Red flowers appear in early to late summer.

Pairs well with Coppertone stonecrop, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Angelonia.
