Notes

'Scarlet' echeveria (Echeveria agavoides 'Scarlet') is a succulent for containers, rock gardens, and houseplant collections. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Its leaves are nearly covered with burgundy red, and the color is deepest in full sun. Red flowers appear from early to late summer.

Pairs well with Wall germander, Blue Point Chinese juniper, and Heavy Metal switchgrass.
