'Cucamelon' (Melothria scabra 'Cucamelon') is an annual for container growing. The plant is a vine, so give it a trellis or other support in its pot. This variety is open-pollinated. It matures in about 67 days from seed. Start it early enough that the vines have time to grow and set fruit before the season ends. Set the trellis in the pot at planting time so the young roots stay undisturbed.

Pairs well with Sunflower, Vinca, and Mandevilla.
