Notes
Vinca (Catharanthus roseus) is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Rosy pink to red flowers with mauve throats attract butterflies and bees from summer into autumn.
Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Purple top, and Stella de Oro daylily.
Native range
Africa.
