Notes

'Dactyl' daffodil (Narcissus 'Dactyl') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. G.H. Engleheart bred it, and the tall, late flowers have snow white petals and a citron yellow cup with a deep red rim. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Raspberry Sundae peony, and Big bluestem.
