Notes

'Raspberry Sundae' peony (Paeonia 'Raspberry Sundae') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double flowers look like vanilla ice cream topped with raspberry sauce. They are fragrant and bloom in spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Baby's breath, and Black Hero tulip.
