Notes

'Daybreak's Flame' loropetalum (Loropetalum chinense 'Daybreak's Flame') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hummingbird gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The low, spreading shrub has purplish-red new growth that turns green. Mid to hot pink fringed flowers open in spring and rebloom now and then through the growing season. Hummingbirds can visit the blooms.
