Notes

Desert lavender (Condea emoryi) is a shrub for borders, hedges, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. The evergreen leaves are fragrant, and the blue to violet flowers draw butterflies and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It is drought tolerant, so it needs little care once settled.

Pairs well with Creosote bush, Chuparosa, Desert willow, and Ocotillo.
